Questions

The question creation tool simplifies the creation process with its customizable options for various types such as multiple-choice, matching, media, and text questions.
As well as the ability to import already existing questions from external sources or previous exams.

To access questions:

  1. From the home page, navigate to the course where the exam is created.
    if you don't have the courses feature enabled, from the home page, click on the desired exam.
  2. there and at the top center of the screen, click on "Questions".
  3. Start creating your first question by selecting the question type you want to create.

Questions' Interface:

After you have created a question, a couple of customizable options are available, such as:

  • Question type:
    The question type drop-down menu allows you to switch the type of question if needed. To change the question type, simply click on the current question name and select a new one from the menu.

Please note if you change the question type, all answer options you've added will be deleted and can't be recovered.


  • Add tag:
    Tags help instructors organize questions into categories based on desired themes or criteria. This makes tags a very useful tool for filtering, and recreating exams with one specified topic using the Question Bank and Assemble Exam features.

    Tags help organize questions into categories so you can find similar questions faster. You can add tags based on the subject or topic of the question. This makes it easier to find specific questions or create sets based on themes. Tags also help filter and organize questions efficiently in the Assemble Exam question creator.

  • Difficulty:
    Adding difficulty to questions helps the instructor assess the overall complexity of the exam.
    Additionally, it can be beneficial in sorting questions with the help of the tags and
    Especially when you have added many questions, you can later use the question bank feature to auto-generate questions.


  • Save in Question Bank: Question Bank is a feature in which you can save your created questions for future use or building exams.
    To save it in the question bank, click on the three-dot icon at the top right of the question interface, then click "Save in Question Bank"


  • Delete Question: You can delete a question by clicking on the delete icon at the top right of the question interface.
  • Question's duplicator: Duplicates any question with the same information as the original question.
  • pts: Assign the desired points to the question.
  • Question Creation Area:
    Many helpful elements can be added to the question text, including images, videos, audio, code, mathematical equations, and more.
    You can also customize the position and the look of the text.
    You can access these options by using the forward slash or by checking the pinned ribbon located under the question's text box.
