Rule options mainly concentrate on ensuring a fair testing environment during the exam for all participants.

All available Rules for Online Type Exams are:

  • No mouse right-click: Students cannot use the right-click on the mouse during the exam.
  • Fullscreen Mode: Fullscreen mode will be enabled during the exam. Students can't exit the fullscreen mode or resize the window.
  • No extra screens: Any external or second monitors, broadcast, or presentation devices are not allowed during the exam.
  • No dev console: Using the developer console, or the "Inspect Element" feature is forbidden.
  • Cursor stays inside window: Your mouse cursor should always stay inside the exam window during the exam.
  • No session switch: Students must not reload or close and reopen the exam page.
  • Camera capture: Student's video and audio will be captured and streamed to the monitoring room throughout the exam.
  • Camera recording: Student's video and audio will be recorded and saved along with the answers. The instructor can view each student's recordings when grading the answers.
  • Screen capture: The student's entire screen and internal sound will be captured and streamed to the monitoring room throughout the exam.

If any of the activated rules are not adhered to by the students, it may lead to the immediate termination of their exam sessions.
