After a supervisor opens an assigned course, they can select an exam from the Exams page. The exam navigation is read-only and changes depending on the exam type, screen size, and exam status.

Common read-only pages

Supervisors can commonly view:
  • Overview or Content, depending on the exam type
  • Questions or Outline in view-only mode
  • Students, when the exam type exposes a Students page
  • Share, when the exam type exposes a Share page
  • Grading, when grading is available for that exam type
  • Reports, when reports are available
Some pages may show an upcoming or view-only state until the exam reaches the required status. For example, reports are usually available after the exam is finished and answers are graded.

Pages hidden from supervisors

The system hides pages that are used to operate or change the exam:
  • Monitoring room
  • Exam settings or Assignment settings
  • Import answers
  • Print
  • Tags
Supervisors also do not use student-only pages such as paper answers, summaries, or code submissions.

Exam type differences

Different exam types expose different pages:
  • Online exams: supervisors can review pages such as Overview, Questions, Share, Grading, and Reports. Monitoring is hidden.
  • Paper exams and assignments: supervisors can review pages such as Overview, Questions, Students, Grading, and Reports. Print and Import Answers are hidden.
  • Quizzes: supervisors can review Overview, Questions, Share, and Reports. Grading and Monitoring are hidden.
  • Code assignments: supervisors can review Overview, Outline, Students, Grading, and Reports. Submission is student-only.
  • Interactive lessons: supervisors can review Content, Share, and Reports.
