# Upload Image Questions

Upload image question type enables the creation of a question that supports image-based answers.
To create an Upload Image question:

1. In the Questions tab, click the "**Add new question**" button.
2. Then under Questions, select "**Upload Image**".
3. This will direct you to the interface where you can formulate your question.

To preview the question from the student's perspective:

1. At the top right corner, click on "**Preview Exam**".
2. Choose either Smartphone or Desktop view and click "**Preview**".
3. On the instructions page, click "**Enter Exam**" to start previewing.
4. Locate the question with the same number as where you created it.
5. In the answer section, students can upload an image by clicking the "**Upload**" button and selecting the image as the answer from their device.
